Children’s Wrestling Book Illustrated by Disney/Pixar Talent February 17, 2008

I just received a very interesting comment from Veronica Davids. She is one of the authors of Wrestling the ABC’s, an all new, illustrated, children’s book about amateur wrestling.
I just wanted to pass along some information to you about a children’s picture book that we wrote. It should hit the shelves this spring 2008. It’s the first ever illustrated children’s book related to wrestling, and it’s being illustrated by Robert Lence who illustrates for Disney, Pixar, etc., and he wrestled at U of Michigan before going on to Cal Arts, so the illustrations are amazing.
The book, which looks good for any wrestling fan, will be hitting store shelves this spring/summer. If you pre-order now, you can even get it autographed by Steve Fraser an a gold medal Olympic wrestler! There’s only a hundred copies of those though.

Some of the HP students on Value Club came and read the book to some of our elementary classrooms today!! What a hit! The kids loved it. Way to go, Tom and Veronica!!
